baby
Welcome to the honeymoon phase of your pregnancy. This is often referred as the most enjoyable and exciting stage of your pregnancy. All the initial symptoms of the pregnancy that at times used to irritate you have disappeared. You are no more suffering from morning sickness, nausea and fatigue. You have moved away from that phase and entered into the second trimester and are going to experience the 15 weeks pregnant symptoms.
Your baby is at the rapid development stage. It had gained both weight and height as compared to the last week’s progress. He or she now weighs about 1.75 ounces and is about 4 inches in length. Your baby is now slowly and gradually getting covered with lanugos that mean fine hair. These hair start growing on the baby’s body helping him in experiencing warmth. The lanugos perform their function of keeping the baby warm till the baby is not born and still in the mother’s womb. But as the time of his or her birth comes near, they start disappearing.
Many new wonderful changes have started accompanying your baby’s body inside your womb. Bones in the ears of the baby are getting hardened now. Baby can now listen to the sounds of her mother. Your baby might be hearing the sounds of your heartbeat, your breathing and even your voice. Future parents get so excited from this fact that they even start placing the headphone near the belly playing soft music so that the baby stays calm.
Baby is now able to perform various simple movements. He can now perform different types of motions. But, future mom occasionally experiences his movements in the form of kick or in the form of hiccups. These sorts of movements and symptoms are more experienced in the later stages of pregnancy.
Various changes are going to accompany your body too along with the body of your baby. At 15 weeks, you have started feeling pregnant. You may also start feeling some unexpected and unwanted symptoms as the side effects of your pregnancy. Generally, women suffer from the lack of immune during this period as their immune system is balanced in their pregnancy. Hence, they are more prone to suffer from various common small illnesses like running nose, headaches and several others.
You should plan weekly visits to your doctor. Nutritional supplements and vitamins should be eaten for the proper functioning of your body.
