How Kids Can Have Fun Despite Rainy Weather

23rd Dec 2010

There aren’t too many people that like rainy days, especially children. As springtime weather begins to come and it gets warmer, kids will definitely want to play. When they get up to a rain filled day, it can mess up their moods. It is a wonderful idea to think of some rainy day activities.

1. The library is a great place to visit when it rains. Kids can pick up books and read them at home.

2. Most kids love to watch movies, but finding the right ones are important. Think of rainy day educational choices that will enrich them while making the parent feel good too.

3. Making an idea box is a cool thing to think about on rainy days. Your kids can pick their favorite things to do and then mix them in a grab bag style. This makes a fun way to do cool things.

4. Making a dress up party is a lot of fun also. You can even use more time on rainy days and make poodle skirts. This is a lot of fun for moms and girls.

5. Another fun way to kill time is to play board games. There is no end for all of the choices to pick from. They are a great way for every one to have a good time.

6. Think about reverse writing. Reverse writing is meant for older kids, and all you do is hold it up to a mirror when you’re done and see if everyone did well.

7. Making home made cookies is a fun thing to do when it rains, and kids love to help out in the kitchen by mixing the ingredients. The smell of cookies baking and eating them is wonderful. Think about getting under a blanket and looking at the rain outside while eating warm and fresh cookies is cool.
